I sit at the intersection of engineering and operations - the part of the stack where reliability is the feature. At the Bank of England I focus on digital assurance and productivity, making sure the tools and delivery pipelines teams rely on stay fast, measurable, and trustworthy.
I gravitate toward the work that is invisible when it goes right: clean infrastructure, sensible automation, and systems that behave the same at 3am as they do at noon. Reliability is the part of the stack I care about most.
